Recipe for millefeuille of salmon, cantaloupe melon and mozzarella with strawberry vinaigrette

Although the word ‘millefeuille’ evokes that delicious puff pastry-based dessert, other recipes in which the ingredients are presented in different layers are also given this name.

This is the case with the original recipe described below, which achieves a great balance of flavours by mixing sweet and savoury together. It’s a refreshing meal that’s perfect for summer. Try it for yourself!

    Start by removing the seeds from the melon and cutting the flesh into thin slices to use as a base for your millefeuille.

    Cut the mozzarella cheese into slices of a size and thickness similar to the cantaloupe melon and arrange them on the melon slices.

    Now add the next layer of your millefeuille, this time with Natur salmon, then repeat the whole process again until you get the height you want.

    Next, prepare the dressing. Finely chop the red onion, cucumber, mango and strawberries and mix everything in a bowl.

    Finish off with oil and salt to taste and pour a generous amount over the millefeuille, producing a surprising combination of flavours and aromas.
